Tim Patella Owner & Outfitter
Tim is the owner and licensed outfitter of Montana Trout Scouts with years of guiding experience, including Colorado and in Montana. He specializes in technical fly fishing on Montana’s premier rivers, with a strong focus on the Madison River and targeting large, wild brown trout.
Tim guides anglers of all experience levels and is known for clear instruction, efficient days on the water, and a professional, safety-first approach.
Alex Patella Booking Professinal
Alex grew up in Bozeman, where a love for the outdoors is simply part of everyday life. Raised in the heart of southwest Montana, she developed a deep appreciation for the rivers, mountains, and community that make this region special. As the Booking Specialist for Montana Trout Scouts, Alex is often the first friendly voice our guests connect with, helping coordinate trip dates, and answer questions. Organized, welcoming, and deeply familiar with the area, she takes pride in making the planning process easy and stress-free so you can focus on what matters most — enjoying your time on the water.
